Author(s): Deborah A. Shearer, MS, and Gregory L. Vogt, EdD
Wind Tunnel (performance tester)

Students construct a wind tunnel to test the performance of rockets built during the "Paper Rockets - Intermediate" activity, and use data generated from the test to help them design better rockets.

The "Rocket Wind Tunnel" activity is from the Rockets Educators Guide. Although grade levels are suggested, small modifications will enable more complex activities to be used successfully with other grade levels for observation, demonstration or complete lessons.
