Build a Spider Habitat
Dr. Greg Vogt demonstrates how easy it is to build a spider habitat using inexpensive materials. Originally designed to house a Nephila clavipes orb weaver spider for the Earth-based portion of the Spiders in Space project, the habitat also may be used to study the life cycle of other spiders.
Developed and conducted in collaboration with BioServe Space Technologies of the University of Colorado, and the United States National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
