Students will enjoy these reading and language arts worksheets with activities that are directly related to the book Mr. Slaptail's Secret. Exercises cover word meaning and context clues, sequence of events, cause and effect relationships, details and supporting ideas, main idea, summarizing, fact and opinion, inferences, generalizations and conclusions, and following written directions.

The Reading Link: Air is an integrated component of the Air curricular unit, but it may also be used with the storybook Mr. Slaptail's Secret as a set of reading and language arts activities.

These worksheets may be used with a broad range of grade levels. They are most appropriate for use with students in grades 3–5.
