The Center for Educational Outreach is thrilled to announce exciting upcoming events and news for our STEMM Network! Over the next few months, we will be sharing fantastic opportunities to dive into engaging STEMM educational content, build valuable network connections, and participate in enriching professional development experiences.
 


Upcoming Summer Events:

Dates: July 14–16, 2025
Location: DeBakey High School for Health Professions, Houston, TX

The STEMM Master Teacher Development Institute is a 3-day training event aimed at K-12 master science educators interested in implementing phenomenon-based 3D learning through a biomedical lens. The program is designed for teachers with over three years of experience in STEM or health-related courses who wish to expand their skills and advocate for STEMM culture on their campuses.

The STEMM Planning Institute for Leadership Teams is a 3-day event designed to help school leadership teams develop strategic plans for STEMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine) programming. The institute focuses on evidence-based, standards-aligned approaches to prepare students for meaningful careers in STEMM fields. Participants will engage with guest speakers, content experts, curriculum advisors, and strategic-planning specialists. (Virtual option available for non-Houston participants)
